About Me

Sydney, Australia
I am a stay at home mum to 2 princesses, wife to a gorgeous Irishman and proud owner of an adorable long haired German Shepherd. I would craft and read the days away if the responsibilities of life did not get in the way! In the mean time I take time, as time allows, to indulge in the things I love!

I did it!

OK so it might just be the top, but at least Mum will know it is on the way to her, sometime soon! Seriously I need quilting opinions....

Please excuse the photos, I am tired and was trying to take the pics before the dog got his big clod hoppers onto it!

Hand quilting would look lovely, Kayscha. I personally wouldn't stipple it on the machine, I think the fabric and design lends itself to a more formal quilting pattern. But, you could do that by machine. Even some sort of straight line pattern using your walking foot. that's my ideas!

It's lovely! Such pretty colours. I agree with Ruth, I'd go a simple straight line quilting.

If it were me, I'd want to machine quilt feathers and swirls; it deserves more than a stipple! Actually, I could quilt it for you if you like...
