Dull and Dreary

We have only 2 days of sunshine in the past 2 weeks - starting to feel soggy and a little bit of cabin fever. I am missing my morning walks with the dog - we are doing a quick one around the block so he can stretch his legs...only taking about 20 minutes at a time, usually we walk for 40-60 minutes every morning!

This is the view from my study just now, the rain has stopped but it has been intermittent and very heavy all day. Sigh!

Today was spent being domesticated, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing and tidying. 10 minutes on the sofa to read my book though was required. I have had a lifelong love of Olivia Newton john, so when I saw this book I had to grab it and I am enjoying it.
